I bought [simpleazon-link asin=”0871401525″ locale=”us”]E. E. Cummings: Complete Poems, 1904-1962 (Revised, Corrected, and Expanded Edition)[/simpleazon-link]. I also bought an anthology of Somali poetry [simpleazon-image align=”left” asin=”0253304636″ locale=”us” height=”160″ src=”http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51Oj0sEx%2BvL._SL160_.jpg” width=”107″]
and Rock and Roll poetry[simpleazon-image align=”right” asin=”0253208645″ locale=”us” height=”160″ src=”http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51rWlEqoKXL._SL160_.jpg” width=”99″], featuring writers like Joyce Carol Oates. In addition, I couldn’t resist adding to my collection this little gem. The title and cover alone were worth it. I’m not even a cat person. I’m allergic to cats, so I have dogs. But, I do enjoy the mystery of cats, the curiosity of cats, and the wonder in general that they seem to have about the world. These poems capture those qualities and ever so much more. I highly recommend it for a fast, fun, laugh-out-loud, oh-now-I-get-it read!
